Mosaic Builder is a live participatory artwork for events, celebrations, communities and public spaces. Guests take part by scanning a QR code and uploading their own images. These contributions are processed, printed and assembled into a large physical mosaic during the event, allowing the audience to watch the artwork grow in real time. By the end, the day has created more than a memory. It has created a shared artwork.

The process is simple for participants and visually engaging for the audience.
Guests scan a QR code, upload an image, and become part of the artwork. Behind the scenes, the images are curated and prepared for print. Each printed tile is then added to the growing mosaic, gradually revealing the final image.
The finished piece can be created as a single large artwork, a four-panel visual story, a compact version for smaller spaces, or a square-format joiner made from individual images.

1. Scan the QR code
Guests upload images from their phones.
2. Images are collected and curated
The uploaded images are prepared for the artwork.
3. Tiles are printed during the event
Each tile contains participant images and forms part of the larger composition.
4. The mosaic is built live
The artwork develops throughout the event and is revealed as a shared final piece.

Mosaic Builder is not a screen-based slideshow or a novelty photo booth. It is a physical artwork made live from the people, places and stories of an event.
The process gives audiences a reason to contribute, return, look closely and see themselves as part of something larger. The final piece becomes both a record of the event and an artwork in its own right.
